Above All Else.
My name is Leigh Luxton. I have been an interior designer for over twenty years. I started off with a degree in Art & Design, then went on to work in various Interior showrooms and offices after leaving university with a 2:1.
I have always been creative. My main ambition is to be creative, above all else! I love being immersed in colour, pattern, texture and figuring out what goes where!
I love all styles of design; I love Art Decco, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. I love calm and restful. I love blasts of colour and texture. I love comfy and cosy. I love simplicity with clean lines and understated.

Part..
My favourite part of the job is about ten minutes in to meeting a new client. As they are talking to me about what they want and need. I am looking around, picking up on their styles, tastes and lifestyle.
My mind is working through all the possibilities I can offer. I have usually designed the project, for the most part, before I’ve left the property.

Feature..
I think the best thing about Lux Interior Design is being able to offer individual designs. I never use the same design twice, my creative brain wouldn’t allow me to!
I focus on tapping in to people’s tastes and translating that into a design they will love. I listen, soak up all the information, then my brain is flooded with ideas.
Our Design Process..
I love presenting my designs, getting a surprised response, being able to offer something they would never have thought of.
I do not have a ‘Signature Look,’ my job is to bring out the design that is right for that individual client. I have worked with all sorts of people with all sorts of tastes.
